Abstract Systemic functional translation studies (SFTS) has been a research area sustained by scholars from both Functional Linguistics (SFL) and over the past decades. In China, there have an increasing number of in SFTS after 2000s, with Professor Guowen Huang being one pioneering influential contributing to this emerging area.
